Installing the headers proved more challenging that installing the engine into that little car. In order to install these, the starter had to be removed. If you have the larger stock starter, you'll have to unbolt all the engine mounts and pull the transmission tailshaft all the way to the frame on the driver's side of the car. Then you'll have to cradle the starter into the passenger side header and lift it up into place on the engine with the starter weight. Won't be easy. Helps to get a buddy to help in this situation. Instructions come with the headers and save yourself the frustration, follow the instructions. No easier way to do this unless you buy one of those smaller high-torque starters. If I had it to do again, I'd have changed to the smaller high-torque starter. Someday this starter will fail. When it does, gonna be hell to remove and replace. Here you see the starter and headers in place. Starter is going to get real hot. I wrapped it with heat shielding insulation at critical areas to help deflect radiant heat.
