Oil return line is attached to the valve cover with the supplied fitting and hose. If this method is used for the oil return line care must be taken to ensure that the return line does not add oil flow near vacuum lines for PCV etc., as this could cause excessive oil consumption when the engine vacuum siphons off some of the return line oil into the engine intake. Also make sure that the return line fitting does not come to close to the engine components such as rocker arms to cause contact when the engine is running.
