This arrow is pointing out the sensor for the mechanical oil temperature gauge as it is attached to the top of the 1/4 NPT
"T" (supplied with the mount kit). You can't see it here, but the sensor is very long and protrudes down into the "T" where
it is in the path of the oil as it flows toward the By-Pass Oil filter.
