In this picture you can see the 3/4" X 3/4" tube I used to hold the transmission linkage assembly and the linkages I fabricated. I bent the tube so it would curve upward past the carburetor throttle so as to be able to receive a fabricated linkage from the throttle to move the linkage to the transmission itself. In order to make the proper connections you'll have to go to the auto parts store and buy a carburetor installation kit that comes with a parts to assist in making these snap on and snap off ball connections.
