Drag race between an AMX rail and a red 68 AMX owned by Lyman Eppley and driven by his son Sam. This was during the test and tune. Clearly a heads up race mismatch, but the red AMX is a street car and was driven home after the event not trailered.

AMC Powered Rail vs 68 AMC AMX
This is the final race between the two undefeated cars at the AMC Regional drag races 2008. Incredible contrast considering the red AMX is a street car and the rail is fully a track only car. With bracket racing you can see the head start given the AMX to even up the clock. Also, you can hear the rail pump the throttle attempting to avoid breaking out giving it the win. The red AMX lost by only .0985 seconds.
