I lined the inside of that black bracket, bought at the hardware store in the electrical section, with the rubber weatherstip. I also put some of that adhesive weatherstip on the backside of the bottle between it and the fender wall. As I close the hood, (I checked) that hinge moves away from the PCV filter. I was careful to be sure nothing would collide with that bottle.
