This is where I decided to put the By-Pass filter mount. I test fitted this before removing the engine and marked the location. I like the location because the filter will get the benefit of the cold air being drawn into the fan housing for extra cooling and be out of the weather or harm's way compared to being under one of the rear fenders. This is an old filter element on the filter mount to test for clearance.
